I do a lot of reno work around my house year round, but every summer I pick a little splurge project and spend the time I'd normally spend outside sanding and painting, inside in the air conditioning like God intended. Last summer was the laundry room. This summer is the craft cupboard. I'm trying to think of it as step one toward a more efficient art environment. 

The craft cupboard resides in the second closet of the master suite. This is one of the joys of being single kids; don't get married and you can have both master closets to yourself. Long story short, I made the first of two scheduled trips to the Container Store this week, time to start sorting and packing. 

So I had an idea for a watercolor series. Interesting fact: I haven't done a watercolor, much less a series in about 10 years. I have arthritis in my hands and while it isn't so bad that it makes painting impossible, it's a stern motivator toward laziness. I was hoping if I started a Dev I'd be all distressed about how empty it was and attempt to fill it. Let's see how that works out, shall we?
